Cordova News – Clyde and Vivian Karr attended the funeral of a cousin of Vivian’s whose body was brought back from Wyoming. The funeral was held at the Bert Marshall home on Saturday with burial in Monroe cemetery, beside her parents who preceded her in death. The deceased, a girl, had been an invalid since birth and at the time of her death was 15 years of age.

Eva June Beamer, daughter of Winifred and Fletcher Beamer, was born October 24, 1932 and departed this life, Dec. 31, 1947, at the age of 15 years, 2 months, and 7 days at her home in Torrington, Wyoming. She lived only a few days after contracting pneumonia. Her mother and father preceded her in death.
She leaves her foster-mother, two sisters, Pansy Anne and Nancy Belle at home, and a half-sister, Mrs. Mary Morgan, who resided in California. Her grandmother, Mrs. Belle Marshall, and many other relatives and friends.
Private funeral services were held Saturday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Hubert Marshall of Monroe, with the Rev. Grace Anderson in charge.
