Prairie City News – Funeral services for Don W. Romick of Buffalo, N.Y., who died of leukemia Tuesday in Deaconess Hospital in Buffalo, were held Friday at 2 p.m. from the Pleasant Hill Methodist Church, Rev. Mark Sullivan officiating.
Besides his wife he is survived by five brothers: Chester of California, Arthur of Monroe, Paul of Des Moines, Raymond of Ankeny, and Tom of Knoxville and three sisters: Mrs. Zola Cole of Portland Ore., Mrs. Florence Elrod of Gilman, and Mrs. Freda De Haai of Monroe. Burial was in Griffith (sic) Cemetery.
