Wilma Marie Armstrong passed away at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Leendert Kommer, 215 E. Third St., Pella, Iowa on March 4, 1950. During her long illness she was devotedly cared for by her parents and her family. She attained the age of 40 years, 8 months and 17 days.
She is survived by her children, Doris Lee, Donald Wayne, Mary Louise and James Leo. She also leaves her parents, her brother, Arie and a sister, Mrs. Martha Van Sant of Killduff.
Funeral services were conducted by her pastor, Rev. Clifford Perron of the Baptist church, from the Van Dyk Funeral home on Tuesday, March 7, 1950 at 1:30 p.m. Appropriate music was rendered by Rev. and Mrs. C. Anderson accompanied by Mrs. William Van Dyke. Pallbearers were Ray De Haan, Ellis Finke, Ed H. Vos, John Hoogenakker, Alfred Renaud and Jess Viezelaar. Interment was in Monroe Cemetery.
