Marvin Jospeh McMulin, the son of Marion and Blanche Roberts McMulin was born on August 8, 1933 in Albia, Iowa.

Marvin was the father of three children, Lisa, Jeff and Jeremy. He had been the Director of the Materials Department for the Maytag Company for 45.8 years. Marvin had been a member of the Maytag Management Club. He had enjoyed working on cars, farming, and having breakfasts with his friends.

Marvin died on Saturday, December 5, 2020, at the Taylor Hospice House in Des Moines. He was 87. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Richard McMulin and nephew, Timothy McMulin.

Those left to honor Marvin’s memory are his children, Lisa Mulbrook of Altoona, Jeff McMulin of Newton and Jeremy (Heather) McMulin of Urbandale; grandchildren, Josh (MaryBeth) McMulin, Richie Mulbrook (Nikki Harms), Alexa McMulin and Jayden McMulin; his great-grandchildren, Alyson McMulin and Kinnick Mulbrook; and longtime friend and companion, Norma Altemeier of Newton.
