Ralph William “Bill” Graham, 82, of Orlando, Fla., and formerly of Farrar and Mechanicsville, died Friday at Orlando Regional Hospital from complications of a stroke. Funeral services are 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Bacon Funeral Home in Maxwell. Burial will be in Graham Cemetery near Mingo.
Ralph William “Bill” Graham was born in Farrar to George W. and May Davis Graham. He graduated from Lisbon High School in 1935. On Oct. 18, 1941, he married Mary Louise David in Orlando, Fla. He serviced in the U.S. Army Air Corps during World War II in Italy and Africa. After being discharged from the service, he lived in the Mechanicsville area until moving to Orlando in 1960. He was a member of the Presbyterian Church, the VFW, American Legion Post 309, the Masonic Lodge and the Order of the Eastern Star, all of Mechanicsville.
Survivors include his wife; one son, Wayne Graham of Orlando, Fla.; one daughter, Wanda Graham Haskins of Lake Mary, Fla.; four grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and a sister, Marjorie Gardner of Maxwell.
He was preceded in death by one son and one grandson.
The family will be present at the Bacon Funeral Home in Maxwell from 7 to 8:30 tonight to greet friends and relatives.
Memorials may be made to the Graham Cemetery Association.
