Funeral services for Mrs. Michael B. (Judith Ann) Pherigo, 38, of 602 S. 11th Ave. W. a longtime resident of Newton, will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 22, at the Wallace-Pence Funeral Home.
The Rev. Robert Stewart, pastor of the First Assembly of God, will conduct services. Burial will be in the Newton Union Cemetery.
Memorial contriutions to the American Cancer Society will be accepted.
She died Thursday morning at the Skiff Medical Ceneter.
Survivors are her husband; two sons, Todd J. Still of Florida and Bradley W. Still of Des Moines; a step-son, Tony B. Pherigo at home; a daughter, Mishone at home; parents, William and Wilma Eilander of Newton; and a grandchild.
Also surviving are three brothers, Ronnie, Larry, and Billy Eilander, all of Newton; and five sisters, Mrs. Richard (Linda) Schmidt of Marshalltown, Mrs. David (Alice) Whitlatch of West Branch, Mrs. Terry (Donna) Mann of Mesa, Ariz., and Mrs. ____(Nancy) McConnell, and Mrs. John (Rosemary) Long, both of Newton.
She was preceded in death by two children and an infant brother.
Mrs. Pherigo was a secretary at Newton Manufacturing Co.
The daughter of William and Wilma E. Buwalda Eilander, she was born April 3, 1947 in Newton, attended Newton schools and was graduated from Des Moines Area Community College with an executive secretarial degree.
She was married April 16, 1973 in Newton.
