Hurst, Texas – David Eilander, 37, of Hurst, Texas, formerly of Newton, died in an automobile accident, Friday, Aug. 27, in Fort Worth, Texas.
Funeral services will be Friday at 10 a.m. at the Ankeny First United Methodist Church in Ankeny. Burial will be at Ankeny Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 9 p.m. today at the Ankeny Funeral Home. Memorials to the SAE fraternity in Cedar Falls will be accepted.
Born in Newton and longtime resident of Ankeny, Mr. Eilander moved to Texas five years ago. He was a manager and partner with Alta Mesa Tire and Service Center in Fort Worth, Texas.
Survivors include his wife, Michele; his parents, Darrell and Janice of Ankeny; two brothers, Michael and Darrin, both of Ankeny; and a sister, Michelle Trimble of Shawnee, Kan.
