Margaret Gannon, Former Resident, Dies in California
Margaret Ann Gannon, 35, of San Ramon, Calif., a former resident of Newton, died Tuesday in San Ramon.
There will be no Newton services.
Memorial contributions to the Heart Fund will be accepted.
Survivors are her mother, Mrs. Wilbur Gannon of Rt. 1, Colfax; two brothers, Dr. Richard Gannon of Flint, Mich., and Patrick Gannon of Mingo; and two sisters, Dr. Mary Louise Gannon of Spencer and Kathleen Gannon of Little Rock, Ark.
She was preceded in death by her father.
The daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Wilbur Gannon, she was born Aug. 1, 1943 in Newton, was graduated from Newton Community High School and the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque, N.M.
She had been employed as an airline stewardess for TWA for several years.
Miss Gannon had been ill for a number of years.
