Died, at his residence in Prairie City, Monday evening, after a lingering illness of nearly three months duration. Charley C. Main, aged 37 years.
The deceased leaves a wife, his aged parents, four brothers and four sisters. His relatives best known in this community are his brothers, J. W., Reason and Harlan Main, and his niece Mrs. John Keipp.
Deceased was a member of the M.E. church and the funeral was held in Prairie City, Wednesday afternoon Rev. Shea, a former pastor preaching a very beautiful and appropriate sermon. The remains were laid to rest in Waveland cemetery.
