Rhodes – Shelby Lynn Aikin, 14 weeks, of Rhodes died Wednesday, Nov. 13, at Marshalltown Medical and Surgical Center in Marshalltown.
Funeral services will be held Monday at 10:30 a.m. at the Colfax United Methodist Church with pastor Jill Flyr officiating. Burial will be at McKeever Cemetery in Colfax. Walters-Coburn Funeral Home in Colfax is handling arrangements.
Friends may call Sunday after noon at the funeral home where the family will be available from 2 to 5 p.m. Memorials will be accepted to the Shelby Lynn Aikin Memorial Fund.
The daughter of Steven and Summer (Conley) Aikin, she was born July 19, 2002, in Marshalltown.
Survivors include her parents; a brother, Skyler Aikin of Rhodes; a sister, Shayla Aikin of Rhodes; grandparents, Raymond and Denise Aikin of Colfax and Robert and Sherri Conley of Rhodes; great-grandparents, LeRoy and Barbara Borts of Colfax; Larry and Donna Shuey of Rhodes, Betty and Elwood Simpson of Saco, Mont.; and two aunts.
She was preceded in death by her great-grandparents.
