Clara Chandler, wife of Ed. Young, died at the family residence in this place on Saturday, May 21st, inst., aged 35 years. She was married 17 years ago, at Des Moines, and was the mother of six children, four of whom – two sons – survive with their father to mourn the loss of mother and wife. The funeral was from the Howard Street Christian church at 2:00 p.m., last Monday, conducted by the pastor, Mrs. Harman, and the interment was at McKeever cemetery.
