John "Skeeter" Loren Morton, 78, father of Lorna Marter of Newton, died Sunday, March 14, at Villa Del Sol Care Center in Marshalltown.

Funeral services will be held today at Salem United Methodist Church in Hubbard. Burial will be at Hubbard Cemetery. Boeke Funeral Home in Hubbard is handling arrangements.
