MONTEZUMA -- Shirley Ann Sager, 65, of Montezuma, formerly of Jasper County, died Tuesday, May 25, at Skiff Medical Center in Newton.

Funeral services will be held Friday at 2 p.m. at Watts Funeral Home in Montezuma. Burial will be at Ashton Chapel Cemetery near Mingo.

Friends may call today at the funeral home from 6 to 8 p.m.

The daughter of Earl Kenneth and Josephine (Baze) Gragg, she was born Oct. 14, 1938, in Albia. On Oct. 22, 1956, she married James "Buck" Sager in Mitchellville. She was a housewife.

Survivors include two sons and a daughter-in-law, James and Aileen Sager of Montezuma and Dennis Sager of Dubuque; three daughters and sons-in-law, Teina and Brian Steine of Grinnell, Mary Jo and Travis Moore of Grinnell and Dee Ann and Paul Kirkeby of Johnston; seven grandchildren; one great-grandchild; three sisters, Leitha Jenkins, Pat Doyle and Judy Montgomery, all of Newton; one brother Robert "Bob" Gragg of Mitchellville; and other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, a grandson, and a brother, Lee Roy Gragg, and an infant sister
