Mrs. Charlie Wood, formerly Miss Estella Stock, died near Colfax on Friday of last week. Mr. and Mrs. Wood had only been married about six months, and her death is a source of great sorrow to her husband in which he has the sympathy of a large circle of friends. Deceased was twenty years of age and had always lived in this county. ~ The Newton Record Thursday, September 21, 1899
