The funeral of Stella Whitney occurred at the M. E. Church last Saturday morning, Rev. Body officiating.

Her remains were brought here from Colorado.

Her father, Isaac Whitney of Oskaloosa, was a resident of Lynnville until last year. ~ The Newton Record Thursday, January 5, 1899
