Mary, infant daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Tom White, died last Saturday of pneumonia, after about a week's illness. The little one was six weeks old and had been a large, healthy baby.

The funeral was held at Des Moines, Sunday, in conjunction with its grandmother, Mrs. Braniff, who died in that city Friday. ~ The Newton Record, Thursday, March 22, 1900, Page 4, Column 1 - Colfax Items
