Funeral rites for Mrs. Elizabeth Weeks, 88, who died here Tuesday, Jan. 3, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. George T. Rusk, were conducted Friday, Jan. 6, at one o'clock at the Church of Christ in Lorimor, IA. Interment was in the Hamilton cemetery near Winterset.

Music for the service was furnished by a quartet, composed of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Garrett, Mrs. Thompson and George Fullis. They sang, "Beautiful Isle of Somewhere," "Going Down the Valley One by One" and "Jesus Saviour, Pilot Me".

Five grandsons and one great grandson acted as pallbearers, the group including William Courtney of Lorimor, Orville Ellsworth, Keith Layton, Lloyal Rusk, Gail Rusk and Stanley Steele.

Surviving relatives include two sons, James Steele of Jud, N.D., and Phillip Steele of Deep River, Minn., and four daughters, Mrs. Hannah Smith and Mrs. Abbie Holeman of Lorimor and Mrs. Minnie Frey and Mrs. Sadie Rusk of Newton. ~ Jasper County Record, Colfax, Iowa, January 19, 1933
