The youngest child of Mr. and Mrs. A. P. VanHowling died Saturday morning, Sept. 3, 1898, after an illness of eight days, a victim of malarial fever.

The funeral services were held at the home Sunday morning at 11 o’clock, conducted by Rev. Klooster of Galesburg. The remains were taken to Pella for burial.
