Mrs. Jungwirth Dies Friday; Rites Monday
Mrs. Jacob (Katherine) Jungwirth, 95, 316 S. 3rd Ave. W., resident of Newton for 60 years, died Friday evening at Skiff Memorial Hospital.
Services will be at 9:30 a.m. Monday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
The Rev. Edward Shepherd, pastor of the church, will officiate and burial will be in Sacred heart Catholic Cemetery.
Rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m. Sunday at Loehr Funeral Chapel.
Friends may call at the funeral chapel after 2 p.m. Sunday.
Surviving are a son, Frank, of Newton; two daughters, Mary Jungwirth of Newton and Mrs. Helen Cooper of Los Angeles, Calif.; and two sisters in West Germany.
She was preceded in death by her husband, two daughters, a son, a great-grandchild and a brother.
Mrs. Jungwirth was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church and the Sacred Heart Society.
The daughter of Simon and Mary Moutchka Pruher, she was born Aug. 18, 1874 in Berlau, Czechoslovakia.
She was married Oct. 22, 1901 in Czechoslovakia.
