Well Known Woman Dies Last Night
Mrs. Jon Trivitts Passes Away After An Illness of More than Twelve Years
Brief Funeral Service at the Home Tomorrow at Two O'clock.
Burial will be made at Hixon Grove Cemetery - Had Lived in Jasper County Many Years

Mrs. John Trevitts passed away last night about eight-thirty o'clock at her home on Third Avenue Southeast. The immediate cause of her death was ptomaine poisoning., altho she had been more or less of an invalid for twelve or thirteen years.

A brief funeral services will be held at the home here tomorrow afternoon at two, then the body will be taken to Hixon Grove Chapel where the funeral will be held at three-thirty.

Mrs. Trevitts was seventy-eight years old. Her husband died some time ago, but she leaves two children, Ansel and Miss Docia. She was a kindly little woman, who because of poor health, kept very close to her home. Those who knew her well loved her dearly, and in her passing her acquaintances have lost a sincere friend.

Sumitter Note: She is buried in Slagel Cemetery, once known as Hixon Grove cemetery.
