Oak Ridge, Tenn. - Letha Raridon, 87, of Oak Ridge, Tenn., formerly of Grinnell, died Tuesday, July 21 following a brief illness.

The body was cremated. Funeral services will be held Aug. 16 at 2 p.m. at the Mayflower Home in Grinnell. The daughter of Sherman Edward and Tranna Mae Young Woods, she was born Aug. 17, 1910, in Newton. She graduated from Newton High School and attended Iowa State College. A longtime resident of Kellogg and Grinnell, she moved to Tennessee in 1991 to be near her son Richard.

Survivors include her son, Richard, of Oak Ridge, Tenn.; a brother, Jay Woods, of Newton; a daughter, Jeanene Upton of Grand Saline, Texas; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.
