Prindle, William
Wm. Prindle, who lived with his son, Harrison Prindle, about three miles southeast of Reasnor, was buried last Friday at Monroe.
Mr. Prindle was quite an old man; his age would have been 75 years had he lived until the 21st of next February.
The cause of his death is somewhat shrouded in mystery. Last Wednesday forenoon he was engaged in repairing a corncrib. He had evidently fallen from a box on which he had been standing, and in falling had struck his ear against a protruding nail. Parties going to the corncrib found the old gentleman leaning against a post, in an unconscious condition, from which he did not rally sufficient to make any explanation. His ear was bleeding profusely, which gave grounds for believing his death was caused as stated.
