Pink, Frances (Schweinebart)

Baxter, Iowa - Frances A. Pink, 81, of Baxter, died of heart failure, Thursday, July 31, at Heritage Manor Care Center in Newton.

Private family graveside services were held today with Pastor Ed Lord of Community Heights Alliance Church of Newton, officiating. Burial will be at Sugar Grove Cemetery in rural Newton.

The Wallace-Pence Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

The daughter of Frederick and Opal Stinson Schweinebart, she was born Jan. 11, 1916, in Rhodes. She married Logan M. Pink Jan. 21, 1948, in Rock Island, Ill.

A longtime resident of Des Moines before moving to Jasper County in 1989, she was a homemaker.

Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Gary and Bonnie Schweinebart of Baxter; two grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and a brother, Olen Schweinebart of Baxter.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband; a brother; and a sister.
