Mudgett, Andrew Jackson

Oroville, Calif.-Andrew Jackson Mudgett, 98, Oroville, Calif., a former resident of Galesburg, died Thursday, Feb. 27, at his home.

Burial was in Hood River, Ore., where he had resided for many years.

Survivors are a step-son, George Hise of Oroville; five step-grandchildren; two sisters, Arlie Bell Mudgett of Newton and Sarah Etta Winters of Knoxville; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his wife, the former May Hise; and a son, Edwin.
