Walter Lee Clement, age 62 of Colfax, passed away on Friday, January 24, 2020 at Mercy Medical Center in Des Moines. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, January 30, 2020, at 11:00 am at the First Baptist Church in Colfax. The family will greet friends following the services at a luncheon at the church. The son of James H. Clement and Barbara (Wade) Ross, Walter was born on May 27, 1957 in Newton, Iowa. He graduated from Colfax High School in 1975. Walter attended the First Baptist Church in Colfax. He enjoyed watching the eagle's, hunting, fishing, and kayaking.

Those left to honor his memory include his son Brandon (Lara) Clement; two granddaughters, Kara and Natalie; mother Barbara (Larry) Ross; his step mother, Janet Clement; two sisters, Sheila (John) McCall and Denice Ward and several nieces and nephews.
