Long, Iva (and Walter)

Iva, the eleven-year-old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John A. Long, died yesterday morning of diphtheria. This is the second death in the family within the past ten days, their little three-year-old son, Walter, having died of membranous croup on Monday of last week. Robbie, seven years old, has also been quite sick, but is reported better this morning. The loss of their two precious children is a crushing blow to Mr. and Mrs. Long, and seems almost more that they can bear. All hearts sympathize deeply with them.
