Died, at the residence of Thos. Clark of this place, on Monday night, September 12th, 1875, Mrs. Charlotte Long, wife of Richard Long, of Union Co., Iowa.

The deceased was a sister of James M. Adamson and Mrs. Thos Clark, of this place, and had come with her husband to attend the funeral of Mr. Jesse Long. She took sick with Typhoid fever and after a short but severe illness passed over the river of death leaving a husband and several children—the youngest a babe—to do without a wife’s and mother’s care.
