Death of Mrs. W. J. Leeper
Leeper, Catharine (Conn)

Mrs. W. J. Leeper died at her home five miles west of town, last Saturday, Jan. 29th. The immediate cause of her death was pneumonia, which followed a severe cold contracted about a week before her death, although for several years she had been in feeble health. There was a large attendance at the funeral on Sunday afternoon at Sugar Grove Church. Services were conducted by Rev. John Ferguson, pastor of the U. P. Church, of which denomination Mrs. Leeper was a devout member.

Mrs. Leeper’s age was about forty-three years. Her maiden name was Catharine Conn, and was married to her bereaved husband in 1885, besides whom she leaves four children to mourn the loss of a devoted mother. Her neighbors all speak of her in the highest terms as a wife, mother and friend and deeply sympathize with her loved ones in their great affliction.
