Newton Man Dies Monday
Funeral Services for Roy Reynolds at 10:30 Tomorrow Morning; Burial Here
Roy Reynolds died at 6 o’clock last evening at his home on East Eleventh Street South, after a two months illness from heart trouble and Bright’s disease.
Prior to his illness Mr. Reynolds was employed as a moulder at the Maytag company, but was forced to give up his work when his health failed. He was a native of Newton, having lived here practically all of his life.
Surviving him are his wife and a daughter, Marie, age 12, his mother, Mrs. Emeline Reynolds of Newton and four brothers, Joe, Carl and Fred Reynolds of Des Moines and Jack Reynolds at Oakland, Calif.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 tomorrow morning from the Morgan Funeral home. Rev. P E. Becker of the Christian church will be in charge and burial will be made in the Newton cemetery.
