Mrs. Geo. B. Lawrence died at her home in Commerce, Iowa, on Monday morning, March 14, aged fifty-one years and six days.

Mrs. Lawrence had been a sufferer for the past nine months with a cancer. Although the best physicians were employed and the constant and untiring care of a devoted husband and daughter were given her, the terrible disease would not yield, until its fatal work had been accomplished, and death relieved her from her sufferings. She was a good Christian woman, and her death brings sorrow to a large circle of friends. She leaves behind a husband, one daughter, three brothers and one sister.
