TED LANE, 61, DIES TODAY; RITES SATURDAY
Harold Edward "Ted" Lane

IRA - Edward H. (Ted) Lane, 61 of Ira, a longtime resident of the Ira community, died today at his home, one mile west of Ira. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at the Toland-Wallace Funeral Home. The Rev. T.A. Thompson, pastor of the Baxter United Church of Christ, will conduct the services. Friends may call at the funeral home after 9 a.m. Friday.

Survivors are his wife, Florence; six sons, Gene of Atlanta, Ga., James of Joplin, Mo; David of Albuquerque, NM.; Dan of Dallas, Tex., Bill of Broomfield, Colo., and Stanley of Des Moines; three daughters, Mrs. George (Judi) Keagle of Mingo, Vicki Lane of Denver, Colo., and Mrs. Stuart (Phyllis) Nickel of Denver, Colo., 22 grandchildren and his father and step-mother, George and Lula Lane of Newton.
