Eleanor E. Lane Dies Early Today; Services Monday
Eleanor Evelyn Johanna (Dennis) LaneMrs. Kenneth E. (Eleanor Evelyn) Lane, 54, of 312 N. 15th Ave. W., a longtime resident of Newton, died at 3:45 a.m. today in her home. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Monday in Toland Funeral Home.
The Rev. L.D. Hepworth, minister of Foursquare Church, will conduct the services. Burial will be in Newton Union Cemetery. Friends may call after 7 p.m. today in Toland Funeral Home.
Survivors are her husband; a son, Paul of Newton, Daily News photographer; a daughter, Mrs. Leonard (Deanna Kay) Shadley of Newton; two sisters, Mrs. Thelma Strawser of Austin, Tex., and Mrs. Roger (Arlene) Byal of Mingo, and a brother, Norman Dennis of Waukegan, Ill. She was preceded in death by her parents.
The daughter of Alfred A. and Sadie Schultz Dennis, she was born Oct. 20, 1913, in Menominee, Wis. She was married to Kenneth E. Lane Aug. 13, 1931, in Unionville, Mo. Mrs. Lane was a former employee of the Vernon Company.
