Mr. Keller had been hospitalized in Grinnell since last March when he suffered a stroke.

Peter George Keller, son of Frank and Rozella Keller, was born August 20th, 1892, in North Vernon, Ind., and died Sept. 15th, 1966. When he was 19 years old he moved to the Brooklyn community. In 1920, he was married to Mabel Shadel and three daughters and one son were born to the couple. The family always lived in Madison community where he was a member of the Church of Christ.

He was a veteran of World War I, having served in the infantry. He was a member of the American Legion Post No. 294 of Brooklyn and had been presented a 45-year membership pin by the Brooklyn Legion post. He is survived by his wife, Mabel; three daughters, Mrs. Robert (Lorene) Archer of West Des Moines, Mrs. Charles (Virginia) Gardner of Elmhurst, Ill., and Mrs. James (Wanda) Stirniman of Channahon, Ill.; and one son, Laurel Keller of Brooklyn; 15 grandchildren; and one brother, James Keller of Brooklyn; and one sister, Mrs. Edgar (Letha) Buchenau of Brooklyn.

He was preceded in death by his parents, nine brothers and sisters, and one grandchild.
