Lori Lynn Coleman
December 23, 1961 ~ November 15, 2019

Lori was born December 23, 1961 to James (Jim) and Theda (Teddy) (Stevens) Van Hoosen in Newton, Iowa, and passed away November 15, 2019 after a long struggle with kidney disease at her home in Hawk Point, MO, surrounded by her family.
Lori lived in several states and graduated from Warsaw High School, Warsaw, Indiana.

There will be no immediate services but will have a celebration of life in the spring of 2020 at her home in Hawk Point, MO.

Surviving are her husband, Raymond, her son, David, both of Hawk Point, MO; her daughter Raechel Carr (Chris) of O'Fallon, MO; her granddaughter, Toni; Step grandchildren, Kyle Carr, Cody Carr (Lilly Phillips), Camron Rickerson (Derrick), her mother, Teddy Van Hoosen and sister, Jodi Van Hoosen of Newton, Iowa; her long time friend Debbie Curtis Day; many aunts and uncles and many friends.

Lori was preceded in death by her father, Jim Van Hoosen, her father in law, Robert Coleman, her mother in law, Viola Dodge.

Lori will be remembered for her love of life, her family, her absolute love of music, jewelry making, gentle giving spirit, crafting and especially the love of little Toni. Lori always put others first and helped anyone in whatever capacity she could. When she was 8 ½ months pregnant, she pulled over to help an elderly couple change a flat tire. She had just signed up for hospice and got everything to give her the comfort and relief she had been needing, she waited until her family from out of state got there to take her medication so we could have a lucid conversation.

Lori will always be in our hearts and memories, but the promise of our GOD says that we will see her again. ~ Newspaper Unavailable, 15 Nov 2019.
