RITES SATURDAY FOR WILLIAM JANEWAY, CRASH VICTIM

Funeral services for William Perm Janeway, 76 who was killed in an automobile accident on First Avenue East Thursday, will be Saturday at 2:30 P.M. in the Kellogg Methodist church.

The Rev. Grace Anderson, now of Cambridge and formerly of the Kellogg church will conduct the service. She will be assisted by the Rev. Floyd Newbrought of the Kellogg church. Burial will be in the Center Friends Cemetery.

Mr. Janeway is survivied by his wife Lillian who was injured in the accident: two daughters Mrs. Ernest Higby of Kellogg and Mrs. Roy Doane of Newton; three brothers V.J. Janeway of Bellflower, Calif., Z.O. Janeway of Exeter, Calif. and A.J. Janeway of Newton.

Other survivers are four sisters Mrs. Dora Meredith of Bellflower Calif; Mrs. Besse Faulkers of Mitchellville and Miss Berta Janeway of Chicago and four grandchildren.

Mr. Janeway was born near Kellogg 12 May 1880 the son of James and Mary Janeway. He married the former Lillian Mae Young in Monroe on June 26, 1904.

He had lived and farmed all his life in the Kellogg area except for three years spent in Oklahoma.

Friends may call at the Johnson Funeral home in Kellogg after 6 p.m. today. The family has announced that if preferred, contributions may be given to the cancer fund in lieu of sending flowers

JANEWAY RITES ARE HELD TODAY
Funeral services for William Perm Janeway, 76, Kellogg who died in an accident here Thursday were today at the Kellogg Methodist conducted by the Rev. Grace Anderson, fomerly of Kellogg, and Rev. Floyd Newbrough minister of the Kellogg Methodist church.

Pallbearers for Mr. Janeway were Delbert Jacobs, Max Moberly, Andrew Beatty, Charles Cunningham, O.C. Norton and Leonard Starrett. Members of the Floral commitee were Mrs. O.C. Norton, Mrs. Myrtle Callison and Mrs. Herman Laskewity.

Burial was in the Center Friends Cemetery.
