Gay Jacobsen Died Wednesday Evening

Gay Jacobsen, about 50, retired painter and decorator, died about five o'clock at his apartment at the Grand Hotel Wednesday evening. Mr. Jacobsen had been in failing health for some time and was over come with a shortage of breath while at Loving's Grocery about 9:30 Wednesday morning and failed rapidly from then on.

He is survived by his wife, Ruth Jacobsen, a member of the nursing staff at the Colfax Sanitarium, a daughter, Mrs. Leonard Wood and two granddaughters of West Des Moines, a brother at Gilbert, Iowa, and a sister in Chicago.

No funeral arrangements had been made yet that evening.
