Died at County Home
John S. Morrison, who died at the county home Wednesday of last week, was buried Friday afternoon at Greencastle, the service having been held at the church in Mingo. He leaves a wife, two sons and two daughters and a great many others who held him in highest esteem.
Mr. Morrison has been an inmate of the county home for the past seventeen year, he having been afflicted with mental trouble more particularly of a melancholy nature than otherwise, but in a condition such that it was thought not safe for those whom h love most dearly that he remain with them, and it was on his own request that he was card for there.
His home has been in the Greencastle and Mingo neighborhoods for thirty-five years, in both of which he has always been held in the very highest esteem, and was recognized as a most honorable man and a Christian.
Mr. and Mrs. David Bates, Mr. and Mrs. Lyman Bates, Mr. and Mrs. Ed. Galbraith and children and Mr. Wm. Boyd, of this place, attended the funeral Friday.
