Dies at the Asylum
Hardenbrook, IsaacIsaac Hardenbrook, for many years a respect farmer in Md. Prairie Township, died in the asylum at Mt. Pleasant on the 22nd inst. (of this month), and the remains were brought to Monroe, last Thursday and buried beside those of his first wife. Mr. Hardenbrook was taken to the asylum about three years ago, his mind having given way, it is said, on account of domestic trouble. He was a soldier in the 102nd Illinois Infantry and was a member of the Prairie City G. A. R. Post. He had resided in Jasper County about thirty years and for many years lived on the A. K. Emerson farm, northeast of Newton. He leaves two sons, Frank and Orman Hardenbrook.
