NEW SHARON - - - Funeral services for Mrs. Gayle Lovine Hanson, 55, who died at the Mahaska Hospital Monday evening will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, at the Assembly of God Church in New Sharon. Rev. Charles Westendorf and Rev. Louis Goodman will be officiating.

Burial will be at the Woodland Cemetery in Lynnville.

Born Feb. 14, 1916, at Lynnville, was a New Sharon resiville, she was a New Sharon resident and has been bookkeeper for the Shaw Oil Co. in New Sharon for 20 years. She was a member of the Presbyterian Church in New Sharon. She was the daughter of William P. and Hester (Shaffer) Sparks.

Survivors include one brother, Dwight Sparks of Lynnville; three sisters, Mrs. Marion (Neta) Pothoven of Oskaloosa, Mrs. Madelene Elscott of Lynnville, and Mrs. Coleen Needham of Lynnville; and her husband, Myron Hanson of New Sharon.
