Mrs. Perry M. Hammer died at her home in Des Moines last Sunday morning, and on Tuesday her remains were brought to her old home near Amboy for interment.

The funeral services were held at the Friends Church, of which she was a member from her childhood, and were conducted by Mrs. Levi Roberts. Deceased was 45 years of age. Her maiden name was Martha Anderson and she was married to Perry Hammer, near Amboy, in 1872.

Her disease was consumption, from which she had passed through years of suffering.

A large number of old friends assembled at the funeral to pay their last tribute to one whom they had held in high esteem from her girlhood.
