Guthrie, Mina

Little Mina Guthrie, the lovely 7-year-old grand-daughter of John C. Guthrie, died at the home of her grandparents, last Monday afternoon of diphtheria, and was buried Tuesday morning. She was taken ill on Friday afternoon, after attending Children's Day rehearsal at the M. E. Church, and from the first it was evident that the dread disease had marked her for its prey. The warmest sympathy if felt for her widowed mother and other friends by whom Mina was almost idolized.
