Death of a Good Mother
Griebel, Reka

Mrs. Reka Griebel, the aged mother of Messrs. Chris. Ernest and Fred Griebel, died at her home eight miles northwest of Newton on Saturday, March 17th, and was buried in the German Cemetery near Horn on Tuesday the 20th, after services from the German Lutheran Church at Horn. Mother Griebel was seventy-six years of age, a native of Germany but a resident of this country for many years. Her aged husband survives her. Mother Griebel was a good wife and mother and her long life was full of good works and Christian service.
