Obituary of James Gray
Gray, James E.James Gray, 19, son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Gray, Jr., died Saturday about midnight at Cassville, Mo., following nearly a year's illness from tuberculosis.
James Gray was born in Newton, September 9, 1914, and lived here until moving to Cassville, four months ago with his parents, who live on a farm there. He attended the Newton schools and prior to his illness was employed by Wendell Mulbrook in his motorcycle delivery service.
Surviving relatives include his parents; two sisters, Mrs. John Bayse of Newton and Nellie of Cassville; two brothers, Warren and Maurice Lee of Cassville, and his grandfather, Frank Gray, Sr. who also makes his home at Cassville. The entire family with the exception of the grandfather, is expected to arrive in Newton today.
