Frank F. Gray dies Tuesday; rites Monday

NEWTON - Frank F. [Fogel] Gray, 90, of Auburn, Ill., a former resident of Newton, died Tuesday morning at the Memorial Medical Center in Springfield, Ill.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at the Wallace Funeral Home.

The Rev. David Raymond, pastor of the Congregational United Church of Christ, will conduct services. Burial will be in the Sugar Grove Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home after 8 a.m. Monday.

Survivors are a son, Warren Gray of Springfield, Ill; a daughter, Mrs. John O. (Marguerite) Bayse of Springfield, Ill.; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife Lucy, in 1979 and six children.

Mr. Gray, who had retired from the grocery business, was a member of the Christian Church.

The son of Franklin and Lucinda Ferguson Gray, he was born April 24, 1891.
