SUDDEN DEATH
Gentry, James R.

James R. Gentry aged 14 years, son of J. R. and S. J. Gentry, died at the home of his parents on Saturday, August 12, 1882. James had been at work in the country, but feeling unwell, came to his home on Monday of last week, but was not confined to his bed until Friday night, when he grew rapidly worse, and a physician was called.

It was found from the symptoms that he had inflamation of the bowels and stomach, and despite the efforts of the physicians, he passed to death' s embrace on Saturday. Young Gentry was the perfect picture of health, strong, robust and energetic. His parents have the sympathy of the entire community in this their sad bereavement.
