Myrtle Pearl Evans, 88, of Pleasant Hill died Sunday of a heart attack at Parkridge Manor of Pleasant Hill.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Norwoodville Open Bible Church, with burial in Metz Cemetery near Newton.

Born in Newton, Mrs. Evans had lived in Des Moines for 30 years. She was a retired practical nurse and a member of the Norwoodville Open Bible Church.

She is survived by a daughter, Mary Vance of Des Moines; three grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

Friends may call this evening at Hamilton's Funeral Home.
