Funeral Services for Alonzo Hutson Held At Mingo
Long Time Resident of Mingo Died Thursday at Colfax
Alonzo Hutson, 64, a longtime resident of the Mingo community, died Thursday at the Victoria Sanitorium following an illness and failing of health for some time past.
Alonzo Hutson, son of Lawrence and Nancy Hutson passed away at the Victoria Sanatorium at Colfax July 14th at the age of 64 years.
He was preceded in death by his father and mother, one sister, Maude and two brothers, David and William H. Hutson.
One brother Frank E. Hutson of Butte, Montana, survives, but was unable to attend the services on account of ill-health.
He leaves several nieces and nephews and other relatives, and a host of friends to mourn his passing.
All of his life has been spent in and around Mingo, where he was in business at the time of his illness.
Funeral services were held in the M.E. Church at Mingo Saturday afternoon at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. A. O. Wendelburg of Colfax officiating.
Music was furnished by the male quartette, Roy Westfall, Eldon Geisler, Ethelbert Heberer and Floyd Hulse, with Mrs. L. L. Pickett accompanist.
Burial was had in the Sams cemetery.
Pall bearers were Orlo Southern, Floyd Signs, Lynn Southern, Hugh Gannon, Russel Southern and Dessis Cummings.
Mrs. Dorothy Fuller and Rosa Borts were in charge of the flowers.
