Charles Emmack Dies Yesterday

Has Lived On His Farm Located Six Miles West of Newton for Last 40 Years

Emmack, Charles H.

Charles H. Emmack, well known Jasper county farmer, died at his home six miles west of Newton, yesterday afternoon at 3 o'clock following an illness of two weeks. He was 73 years of age at the time of his death. Funeral services will be held Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Metz church and burial will be in the church cemetery

Mr. Emmack is survived by his widow, two sons, Guy Emmack of near Monroe and Elmer Emmack of the Metz Neighborhood and one sister, Mrs. J. C. Halfleigh of Newton and one brother, J. V. Emmack of Newton. ~ The Newton Daily News, Newton, Iowa, August 19, 1929
