Mrs. Lovina Cross, wife of Ebon Cross, died very suddenly at her home two miles east of Ira, Saturday evening, May 22nd. She was seemingly in her usual health until a few minutes before death.

Was 55 years old and had been a resident of this county for many years. She leaves a husband, fine sons, a daughter and many other relatives.

Funeral services were at the home Monday forenoon, conducted by Rev. T. A. Lampman. Interment at Independence Cemetery.
