Cross, Albert E.

Final rites for Albert E. Cross, 46, were held Dec. 24th from the Bumgardner Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Paul K. Potter officiating.

Mr. Cross was born Nov. 2, 1902 in Colfax and died Dec. 21, 1947 at Winterset, Iowa.

He is survived by two sons Edward and David of Ventour, Iowa, four sisters, Mrs. Irene Neal and Mrs. Roy Clippinger of Colfax, Mrs. Cloyd Icenbice of Deep River, Mrs. P. A. Bauer, Prairie City, two brothers, Ted Cross, Colfax and Howard Cross, Newton.

Music for the service was furnished by Mrs. Earl Plummer, Mrs. George Rinker and Jean Binkerd.

Pallbearers were Arthur Rose, Glenn Rose, Reed Ward, Vinton Ward, Royal Cross and Fred Ward.

Flower committee - Mrs. Vinton Ward and Mrs. Aart Kaldenberg.

Burial was in the Colfax Cemetery.
